Dr. Hollie Booth
Trainer
Hollie is an applied researcher and strategy development specialist with 12+ years of experience designing, implementing & evaluating nature recovery programs within the private sector, NGOs and academia. She is particularly interested in evidence-based behavioural and organisational change, incentive-based approaches, and the interface between biodiversity and human wellbeing.
She is committed to designing and delivering equitable and cost-effective approaches to halt and reverse biodiversity loss - working at multiple scales from corporations to local communities - to create a future where nature and people can thrive together.
Her post-doctoral work focuses on designing and implementing randomized control trials of payments for ecosystem services for marine biodiversity and human well-being outcomes in small-scale fisheries in Indonesia; co-supervising Masters students in UK and Indonesia on fisheries monitoring and marine offsetting; and co-ordinating a joint research project on operationalizing nature positive commitments.
